The (REAL) History About henduoqian168.com

When the first this site was going to born, I was confused about choosing a perfect domain name. So, after all I love money, prosperities, and luck; so in my mind there should be something related to business, money, prosperities, hopes, etc. Why henduoqian168? Here’s the story:

1. At first, I wanted to create this site’s domain name as moneytalks168; yea I love that phrases about “money talks” or “money always talks” or “money really talks”. When my friend checked the availability, it was available if there’s “168” after it. Then I tried to google “moneytalks” to check if there’s a website that has the same name; and I really found one, and guess what? The website in the first line was really surprising me, OK you can check it by yourself if you want. Because of that website also, I canceled my decision to use moneytalks168.
2. OK next, I forgot what was it since it was my friend’s recommendation. She said that name which I forgot was once would be used by one of her friend; but I decided to ignore it since it wasn’t my idea. I had no rights to copy someone else’s idea, especially in something related to name!
3. The third was qian168. In chinese, qian means money, I want to use that name actually; but since there’s already a chinese website with “qian” as its domain, so I decided to ignore it.
4. After I ignored 3 (or more [?] I’m a bit forget about it) names, I decided to use some other words from chinese dictionary. I found a word which means forever or without ending; and I decided to put qian168 after that. But when I asked my chinese friend, she said it was not a good name.
5. Luckily, she helped me by finding me a good name. She said hen duo qian is a good name, since hen duo qian means a lot of money. When I googled “henduoqian”, there’s also a chinese website with that name but it seemed to be not available, so I decided to use it since then + 168 after the name; and here it is henduoqian168.com!
6. Actually after I used henduoqian168.com, a friend of mine suggested me to use lai lai qian which generally means find and keep finding money. But he said hen duo qian is better than lai lai qian.

After all, what’s the meaning of hen duo qian 168? Hen [很] means very, duo [多] means many, qian [钱] means money, 168 [一六八] can be meant as a way to success. So hen duo qian 168 [很 多 钱 一六八] generally means, a success way to earn a lot of money; and of course I think it’s a really meaningful name!
